Some time ago I wrote you about a wedding of David & Miki that I was planning for a long time and David even shared his feelings about the wedding that was soon to come with us (“I will be marrying my wonderful fiancée in the Old Town Hall, Prague at 11:00 on 30th April this year. I met my fiancée in front of the Old Town Hall Clock at 10:00 on 30th April 2005. It will be a dream come true when we return to get married at the same place 5 years after we met.”).
Now, David & Miki are finally married. It’s been exactly 5 years since David & Miki’s first date by the Old Town Hall and on their 5 years anniversary they met here again, and this time it was to say their I do’s. We are all touched by their story and are very happy that their wedding day was what they wished and hoped for. The 30th of April 2010, their wedding date, was the first summer-like day of this year – the sky was crystal blue and the sun was shining already in the morning when the wedding party met by the Old Town Hall. The Bride arrived to the ceremony in a vintage Skoda Rapid and when she got of the car the crowd watching the Astronomical clock by the Town Hall stopped breathing for a second. She looked stunning! David & Miki chose a lovely outside venue for their family wedding lunch and all their wedding guests were admiring the amazing views of the Prague Castle and the beautiful weather.
Congratulations David and Miki; we truly wish you all the best! And I’ll still be waiting for the phone to ring at 4:30pm each week :-).
