Dear Petra
Thank you doesn't quite seem enough. We had the most perfect day on Friday and it would not have happened without you. I know lots of people say it, but our wedding far exceeded our expectations. I hope you may be able to pass on the following thanks...
My amazing hair and make up artist. She made me feel and look a million dollars. I have never felt so beautiful. She was also so kind, even offering to help me get into my dress! She kept me calm and was a true professional.
Our driver was great, helping my get my dress and veil safely in the car, as well as giving us a smooth journey to the venue.
The ladies who officiated the ceremony were simply incredible. Their words and kind gestures really meant a lot to us. A beautiful ceremony.
The violinist played beautifully. We managed a quick thank you before she left but would like to thank her again for her incredible performance.
The staff at the bell tower were fantastic. We were so touched to be presented with a book from them too. The day after our wedding, we actually went back to the tower, climbed up to the 10th floor and stood there together 24hours after we had become husband and wife. Lots of tears! (And we got to sign the guest book!) canapés were yummy!
The tram journey was a highlight for our guests and the accordionist especially. Everyone will remember that. Also, our boat trip was such good fun, we all enjoyed the views from the top deck!
The reception venue was perfect. Our guests said the canapés when they arrived were delicious and our wedding meal was some of the best food we have all ever eaten. Staff were so attentive. I cannot begin to express how very beautiful you had made that room. It was divine. Thank you. Our cake was magnificent- the lady in charge from the hotel said her friend had made it and I asked her to ensure that she passed on our thanks.
Our DJ was wonderful, he took requests and even put up with one of my friends using his microphone for a bit of karaoke(!)
We cannot wait to see Dan's photographs- what a lovely man. I'm sure we're going to be thrilled with the results.
Huge thanks to Natalie as well. She had a lot of escorting to do (especially after everyone had had a few drinks on the boat!) You make a great team.
Finally, we wish to thank you personally. Before and during the day you went above and beyond what we expected. You were always so helpful, got the best of everything for us and even made sure I didn't fall back down the stairs at the bell tower (I'm still not sure how I got up those steps!!) Your knowledge of your beautiful home city also came in really handy (a few of us had a very good night in the blue light bar!) We will never forget how special you are.
